INDIA

RAJASTHAN

Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the “Pink City”), are the 18th-century City Palace and Hawa Mahal, a former cloister for royal women, fronted by a 5-story pink-sandstone screen. Amer Fort, atop a nearby hill, was built by a Rajput prince in the early 1600s.

Tour Itinerary  :-

Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi
A representative of Travel Rajasthan Tours will receive you with warm welcome from New Delhi International Airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel by ac-deluxe car. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
Take hearty breakfast at the hotel. In the morning explore Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of India. Drive past Red Fort and Chandani Chowk. In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate, Birla Temple and National Museum. Drive past President House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi To Agra

In the morning take exciting battery van ride to the Taj Mahal Complex. Visit the world famous Taj Mahal at sunrise. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Hence it is also called the Symbol of Love. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later visit another world heritage site – Agra Fort housing beautiful structures like Pearl Mosque, Halls of Public and Private Audience. It time permits also visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, also called the Baby Taj or Little Taj Mahal. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 4: Agra To Jaipur ( 250 Kms/ 6 Hrs)

Take breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jaipur in en route Visit Fatehpur Sikri – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Major attractions to see at Fatehpur Sikri include Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Mahal and Salim Chisti Dargah. Reach Jaipur and check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 5 : Jaipur

Take breakfast at the hotel. Ready to Visit the Jaipur Local Sightseeing 

Jaipur – Jaipur, the capital & largest city of Indian state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is lovingly known as the Pink City of India. It is one of the finest planned cities in the country.

You Visit the majestic hilltop fortress at Amber with elephant ride. Explore the fort complex that is architecturally beautiful. Return to hotel visiting Jal Mahal Palace and Hawa Mahal Palace. After lunch continue your journey to explore the Jaipur city tourist attractions. Other attractions you will visit include City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Birla Temple, Rambagh Palace, Albert Hall Museum, etc. Explore local bazaars in the evening for shopping.

Day 6: Jaipur To Jodhpur ( 320 Kms/7 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, check-in at hotel, visit the Mehrangarh fort; an illustrious work of magnificence, Jaswant Thada the Taj Mahal of Mewar. If times permits visit the local market and enjoy the luscious “Mirchi Bada” a traditional spicy dish of Jodhpur. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 7: Jodhpur To Jaisalmer (265 Kms/5 Hrs)
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Jaisalmer covering The Golden fort or Sonar Killa, trace the former opulence in the havelis called Patwon ki haveli, Salim singh ki haveli & Nathmal ki haveli. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 8: Jaisalmer
After breakfast move to see the cursed village “Kuldhara” and in return visit Sam sand dune, enjoy camel safari and feast your eyes with cultural bonanza in the undulating sea of sand. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Jaisalmer To Bikaner (331 Kms/6 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Bikaner (a flourishing trade route of medieval period), check- in at hotel, visit Junagarh fort, Karni Mata temple, Camel breeding centre (15.00-17.00hrs) Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Bikaner To Mandawa (180 Kms/4 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Mandawa, check-in at hotel, City tour of Sekhawati region popularly known as the Open art gallery of Rajasthan; treat your eyes with frescos in havelis. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 11: Mandawa To Delhi (273 Kms/5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi to connect flight for further journey with galloping memories of many beautiful days spent in the eventful Rajasthan.
