Uttarakhand, a state in northern India crossed by the Himalayas, is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. Rishikesh, a major centre for yoga study, was made famous by the Beatles’ 1968 visit. The city hosts the evening Ganga Aarti, a spiritual gathering on the sacred Ganges River. The state’s forested Jim Corbett National Park shelters Bengal tigers and other native wildlife.
Day 01 Delhi to Nainital( 320 Kms – 9 Hours)
On arrival in the Delhi airport/ railway station, proceed directly for Nainital by road. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After refreshing yourself at the hotel in Nainital, go on a sightseeing tour, beginning with boating on the famous Naini Lake (at your own cost) and visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple. After that, visit famous tourist spots like Naina Peak, SnowView and Lands End etc. In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Note:- Tempo traveller or higher seating vehicle are allowed upto Nainital Parking only. For local sightseeing in Nainital guest has to take local vehicle for sightseeing from Nainital Union on direct payment basis.
Day 02 Nainital – Local sightseeing
After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03 Nainital- Local sightseeing
Today take local sightseeings in Nainital. Overnight at Nainital.
Day 04 Nainital to Corbett( 90 Kms – 2.5 Hours)
After breakfast, drive from Nainital to Corbett National Park enroute visit Corbett fall, Corbett Museum. After lunch Visit Corbett National Park. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park . Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards. Overnight stay in Corbett.
Day 05 Corbett Park to Jeep Safari
Early morning enjoy jungle safari at the Corbett National Park (at your own cost). Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, visit Corbett Wildlife Museum, Dhikala which offers an awesome uninterrupted panoramic view of the valley. Back to the resort. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Corbett Tiger Reserve: India’s first national park, cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas at 3300 feet asl, spreads over an area of 520 sq km. The magnificent Ramganga River flows through the entire length of the Park. Corbett has the highest density of tiger in India. Other carnivores include the leopard, elephant, bear, deer. Basking along the banks of the Ramganga are the slender snouted gharial and the marsh crocodile. There are watch towers, elephant safaris and jeep safaris for wildlife viewing.
Day 6 : Corbett to Haridwar
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and drive to Haridwar. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. This afternoon you will visit a few of the holy temples – each one rooted in cosmic legends and shrouded in divinity – that dot the pilgrim town. In the evening, visit Hari Ki Pauri and witness a fiery Ganga River aarti puja of swirling lamps. Maybe even float a diya down the holy river. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 7:- Haridwar to Rishikesh Haridwar (40 kms / 01 to 02 hrs drive)
Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel at arrival in Rishikesh. Later enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh. Rishikesh is one of the holy cities in India. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh is gateway to the Himalayas. The spectacular River Ganga is like pert of the city. Rishikesh is a place visited by several yogis and sages. They lived and practiced hard penance here. Rishikesh is world famous as Yoga capital of the world. Visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Bharat Mandir. Evening enjoy Ganga ceremony at Parmarth Niketan. Later proceed to Shivpuri town (26 kms far) for Rafting in River Ganga. Visit Vashistha cave for meditation. Vashistha was Guru of Lord Ram who meditated here. Later enjoy 18 kms Rafting and reach Rishikesh. Later enjoy Bungee Jumping in evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel Haridwar .
Day 08 Corbett to Mussoorie ( 90 Kms – 4 Hours)
After breakfast depart by surface to Mussoorie. Late afternoon arrive in Mussoorie & check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 Mussoorie – Local sightseeing
After breakfast excursion to Dhanaulti which is 33 kms away and to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet / 2940 meters. Deodar and Pine Trees, beautiful valleys, snow capped mountains. Also visit the famous Kemtey fall, evening enjoy at mall road, back to the hotel. Overnight at Mussoorie.
Day 10 Mussoorie to Delhi ( 310 Kms – 9 Hours)
